What You Can Expect
New Patient Forms
Filling out your new patient forms before your visit will save you time at the office. You can access the forms here. Once you have completed the forms, you can submit them to us online, or bring them with you. If you can’t fill them out here, or would just prefer to fill them out in the office, please plan on arriving 15 minutes before your appointment so that we can complete your registration.
Our new patients receive a full series of X-rays for their mouth and teeth, or any X-rays that the doctor may require for a complete diagnosis. X-rays give us a complete picture of your teeth, gums and jaws. If you have any questions or concerns about X-rays, we will be happy to discuss them with you.
Life is full of surprises, and not all of them are good. Dental emergencies do happen from time to time, and our patients can call 215-750-2222, or come to the office should an emergency arise.
Comprehensive New Patient Exam
During your first appointment, we will spend the time getting to know you, understanding your dental needs, and talking with you about your medical history. We will examine your teeth, complete a series of X-rays, and screen for oral cancer. Our dental hygienist will examine your gums and the condition of your jaw bones. You can be assured that at we will take the time to talk about the goals you have for your smile, and that we will discuss your treatment options with you.
Personalized Care Plan
No two mouths are alike, and at Alpha Dental Excellence, we want to create the right care plan for you. After your exam, the dentist, hygienist, and other members of our team will talk with you about the results, and make their recommendations for your care. We will also talk about the goals you have for your smile, and what we need to do to achieve them. Finally, you will talk with our treatment coordinator, who will review your plan with you, and discuss your concerns and questions. Our goal is to make your care convenient, comfortable, and affordable and, we are happy to provide many options for you.
